Vincent P. Borrello, Jr. has been an Official and Freelance Court Reporter since 1991. He established Vincent P. Borrello, Jr. & Associates, Inc. in 1994. He is also employed by Orleans Criminal District Court. He has reported thousands of trials and depositions throughout his career.

In 2006, Vincent P. Borrello, Jr. was appointed to the Louisiana Board of Certified Shorthand Reporters for a three-year term by Gov. Blanco wherein he was elected Chair of the Ethics Committee and Education and Examination Committee. In 2009, he was reappointed by Gov. Jindal to the Louisiana Board of Certified Shorthand Reporters for another three-year term, wherein he was elected Chair of the Education and Examination Committee. In 2009, he was also elected as a Board Member to the Louisiana Court Reporters Association where he served as Two-Year Director Official Court Reporter. In 2011, he was elected to serve as President for the Louisiana Court Reporters Association. In 2012, he was, again, reappointed by Gov. Jindal to the Louisiana Board of Certified Shorthand Reporters for another three-year term, wherein he was elected Chair of the Education and Examination Committee.

In 2010, as Chair of the Education and Examination Committee, he instituted mandatory ethics requirements for court reporters in the State of Louisiana. He has been a recurring speaker at the Nuts-n-Bolts Continuing Education Seminar, which is attended by judges, attorneys, administrators and clerks, on court reporting issues and is a presenter at other Continuing Education Seminars throughout the states. He has testified on several occasions before the Louisiana House and Senate Judiciary Committee on court reporting issues.
